pink ombre

So I've been thinking more and more recently about going ombre with my hair, but no ordinary ombre, pink ombre.  This may come as a surprise but I don't actually colour my hair at the moment, this is all natural baby!  So as I never do anything with my hair, I started feeling in need of a change.  And what better time of the year than party season!

But I'm still umming and ahhing so I thought I'd ask you guys what you thought, pink ombre, do I or don't I?

And here's some of my bloggers rocking the pink ombre look, both Rosie and Lydia are using a wash out spray from Superdrug (only £2.99) which I think I'll have to give a go first.

I'm just not sure I'm prepared to take the hit of hairdressers prices to get it done professionally, maybe I should get Zoe to come round, she certainly seems to have mastered the 'DIY' job!

  1. I had pink ombre hair and absolutely loved it! (though I ombre'd my extensions so I could have just took them out) I had to let it go because my hair was bleached aswell and was in terrible condition, so went back to dark and gave it some tlc! I backcombed my hair a few inchs up from the ends (or however long you want your ombre) then just put the die on up till the backcombed section, that helps blend the transition rather than just have a solid line where your hair colour changes, unless you are after that look :)

  2. Oh it'd be great for Breast Cancer Awareness month! I was going to re-dye mine pink for the month, but I have a job now where I can't have coloured hair annoyingly! Maybe try out the spray first and see how you like it :)

  3. I have a total and completely girly reason that i never went and did this….while i love pink and tbh most colours, i kept thinking pastel ombres are nice if they go with what you are wearing or if you are someone who can rock alot of black and solid colours, but i can't. Im usually a riot of print and colour elsewhere so if i put a colour in my hair i would look like someone out of rainbow brite!!!!

I am aware i am rambling now lol, on one hand i would love love to see ombre in your lovely long hair then part of me thinks aaahhh you lucky duck your hair is such a lovely blond and in such lovely condition, dont put colour oooon iiiit!!!!

In conclusion, i have no idea lol xxxxxxx

  4. I wish my hair was still blondey so that I could have pastel pink hair. I just don't think it looks as good with dark hair myself.
Good luck with the DIY job-would love to see it :)
