Ok, Thailand diary part two. It looks like I'm going to be trying to make these Thailand photos last as long as possible as I'm having some issues with outfit shots at the moment. Unfortunately I have lost my photographer (the boy) as we are no longer living together (sob sob) and I don't have any where in my room I can prop the camera...looks like it may be time to purchase a tripod (advice please?).
So anyway, next stop in Thailand was Chiang Mai, which I loved!! Totally different to everywhere else we visited, LOADS to see and do, and the town has a great atmosphere..especially the old town which we only discovered on our last day (typical!). It's also super cheap, £1.50 for a large beer, and about £3 for a meal, so if you're planning a trip to Thailand I definitely recommend Chiang Mai.
We crammed quite a lot in while we were there, elephant trekking, cookery course (which was awesome), and a bit of time round the pool. We also went to the famous night market, pretty much every night we were there, and spent our pennies on fake Ray Ban sunglasses, traditional Thai dinner sets, and a fruit bowl shaped like an elephant (naturally!).
1. Elephant Trekking and Ox Cart Riding
3. The cooking course...we didn't cook those pink eggs, they are left to ferment for something crazy like 10 years and then they eat them, vom!
3. More elephants, butterflies, orchard farms and bamboo rafting
Next up in the Thailand diaries...the islands, and the National Park.
all about the girl
P.S. I start my new job today...correction, I started it at 9am this morning, I scheduled this post, so wish me luck please :)
